try the cardiovascular council where you live ot the emergency room they do them all the time. just walk in and tell them that you want your blood pressure checked.

As stated above, most pharmacies contain a either a self-serve blood pressure monitor or even a blood pressure consulting room that you can speak with a pharmacist, etc.
Otherwise, go to your doctor and as for a physical. This would include your BP.

If you are in Canada or have a drug store near by they offer it to you where the pharmacy is. If you are in Canada All the Shopper drug mart stores have machines. Talk to the professionals at the drug stores too. They can help you. I know they are great here.
If you are in Buffalo or at the other boarder Near Windsor cross over its worth it.

If you were here in Texas I would do it for you. Things that make BP go up temporarily is stress of a situation, sickness, infection. If you were nervous about the physical then it would go up. Exercise also makes it go up. Drink some Chamomile Tea before going in to relax you and have someone drive you. Try to remain calm and relaxed. Have your arm relaxed when they pump up the BP cuff.
